Sailors with Provincial Reconstruction Team Uruzgan ask Navy Capt. Eric Jabs, commanding officer of Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center, Virginia Beach, Va., questions about the training they are receiving from 4th Cavalry Brigade during the commander’s battlefield circulation at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, Ind., recently. Sailors are training with First Army Division East trainer-mentors to assume responsibilities to train, advise and assist Afghan government leaders at the municipal, district and provincial levels in Farah, Ghazni and Uruzgan provinces with help from Australian, Italian, and Polish forces. Military teams are comprised of service members from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, several senior members from the interagency community including the U.S. Department of State, the Agency for International Development, Department of Agriculture, as well as several others.
