Petty Officer 2nd Class Ahmed Sanura, a machinery technician with U.S. Coast Guard Station Seattle, prepares his lines for mooring up a Response Boat-Small (RB-S) in Seattle May 26, 2013. Sanura, along with the other members of Station Seattle, increased presence on the waterways over Memorial Day weekend to conduct safety checks to ensure, not only that the public was boating safely, but to make sure local boaters had all of their required safety equipment as well.
