Jeeps and motorcycles line up for pictures at Joint Task Force Guantanamo's Northeast Gate during the Jeep and Motorcycle Memorial Day ride around the base, May 25, 2008. The ride took troopers from U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay and Joint Task Force Guantanamo to the Northeast Gate and near the Cuzco Wells Cemetery, after which the Jeeps went off-roading on the Ridgeline Trail. JTF Guantanamo conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terror and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations. JTF Guantanamo is committed to the safety and security of American service members and civilians working inside its detention facilities.
