Cdr. Justin Orlich, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class Aegis destroyer USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) visits with his neice Lt. j.g. Laurel Fernandes who is assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). The two had the rare opportunity for a ship-to-ship visit on board Chung-Hoon as their respective ships are both operating in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility conducting exercises, port visits and operations to enhance maritime partnerships and promote peace and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
