Lt. Col. Steven A. Simmons, deputy operations officer, 1st Marine Logistics Group, performs a routine in the cheer-off competition during the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader's show at main side. Simmons won the competition by a show of applause from the crowd of service members. The five cheerleaders are touring Iraq to show their support for the troops and to help boost morale. The group performed a 45 minute act which included costume changes and interaction with the troops. The group also stayed long after their performance and posed for photos with service members.
