Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Fuel) Airman Joe Menchaca, left, Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Gregory Joyner and Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Fuel) Airman Darreon Dewberry verify all chocks and chains have been removed to the pilot of an MH-60s Sea hawk helicopter assigned to the Dragon Whales of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28 on the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Antonio (LPD 17). San Antonio is deployed as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
