Thomas (left) and Maj. Gen. Angela Salinas, director, Manpower Management Division, during the Joint Womens Leadership Symposium at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center today. The Major Megan McClung Leadership Award, named after the first female Marine officer killed in Iraq, recognizes Marines who display inspirational, innovative and imaginative leadership.
