U.S. Army Reserve Lt. Col. Anthony T. Huy, outgoing commander of the 304th Special Troops Battalion, passes the guidon to Col. Scott Swanson, commander of the 304th Sustainment Brigade, during the change of command ceremony at March Air Reserve Base, CA., June 2, 2013. Passing the guidon is an Army tradition that signifies the change of authority. The unit colors are passed from the command sergeant major, to the outgoing commander, to the brigade commander, to the incoming commander and back to the command sergeant major - the guidon’s keeper and protector.
