The parents of Spc. Daniel Lucas Elliott, Patti and Ed, during the ceremony that memorialized and renamed the Cary, North Carolina Army Reserve center in honor of their son. Spc. Elliott was killed in action in Basra, Iraq, July 15, 2011 while deployed with the 805th MP Company.
