John Barnett, the commanding officer of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46), cut a cake June 4, 2013, during a reception as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2013 aboard the Tortuga in Sattahip, Thailand. The Tortuga, part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, was on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
