Vietnam People’s Army Sr. Col. Do Mai Khanh (right), lead medical officer, and U.S. Army Col. Steven Toft, senior U.S. medical representative, attend a multinational presentation of the Association of Southeast Nations Defence Ministers Meeting-Plus ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief and Military Medicine Exercise hosted by Brunei Darussalam June 10 at the Multinational Coordination Centre in Muara, Brunei. The ASEAN exercise marks the first time multinational forces will conduct a field training exercise under the ADMM-Plus architecture and is a milestone event for regional cooperation. More than 1,800 multinational personnel from 18 Asia-Pacific nations are participating in the ASEAN exercise from June 16 to 20.
