Arthur Bartell, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg deputy commanding general cut the birthday cake Friday with a saber following the Fort Bragg Army Birthday 10-Miler race outside Sports USA in celebration of the Army's 233rd Birthday. Palisca, 31, won as the the top female overall and Lawton, 23, won as the top male overall during the race that is held every year during the Army birthday week on Longstreet Road.
