Tech. Sgt. Brian Hain, Fuels Technician, thoroughly describes the JP-8 jet fuel testing and filtration process all the way from the pipeline source to fueling the jets on the flight line at the 124th Fighter Wing Logistics Readiness Squadron open house at Gowen Field July 13. The routine testing saved equipment and possibly lives in 2009 when fuel contaminants were discovered and flying operations were halted until the source was identified and contaminants were cleared.
