Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel arrives at Peterson Air Force Base June 27, 2013. While in Colorado, Secretary Hagel will visit the headquarters of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command at Peterson AFB. Secretary Hagel will receive briefings from Gen. Chuck Jacoby and staff on a number of issues including homeland defense, integrated air and missile defense, U.S.-Mexico military-to-military relations, and defense support of civil authorities.
