Black Hawk crew chief Staff Sgt. Jose L. Miranda checks the port side prior to takeoff on a UH-60 Black Hawk with the 1-150th Assault Helicopter Battalion, New Jersey Army National Guard, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., June 25, 2013. The aviators flew to the U. S. Military Academy, N.Y., where they assisted more than 120 West Point cadets in rappelling from three Black Hawks from more than 60 feet in the air on to the practice field at West Point.
