260312-N-AT886-1345 PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 12, 2026) Lt. Cmdr. Esther Ruedi, assigned to Naval Medical Operational Training Command and Cmdr. Monica Hall, assigned to Naval Branch Health Clinic Corry Station, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Pensacola, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a training manikin in a code blue scenario where a patient has undergone cardiac arrest during a Advance Life Support (ALS) class at Naval Hospital Pensacola (NHP) on March 12, 2026. Code blue training serves as an ultimate test of a Sailor’s life-saving capabilities, in this high-stakes drill, part of the ALS training at NHP. By simulating these drill scenarios, Sailors are medically and operationally ready as they are prepared to lead and function within a resuscitation team in any environment.
