An M1A1 Abrams tank from Charlie Company, 1-252 Combined Arms Battalion, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team is successfully loaded into a C17 Globemaster III and is prepared to be secured with over 45 tie-down devices at Pope Army Airfield on Fort Bragg, N.C., June 23, 2013. The unit worked in conjunction with U.S. Air Force loadmaster personnel to successfully secure the equipment on a C17 Globemaster III aircraft. The training was part of Joint Operational Access Exercise 13-03; an exercise to synchronize planning and execution of large-scale logistical movement of equipment and personnel into a hostile area.
