Marines and sailors with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 7, celebrate the Fourth of July at a battalion luncheon here, July 4, 2013. “While the fireworks look nice and the foods may taste good, it’s about celebrating the beginning of freedom, supporting service members and bringing families together—and remembering the ultimate sacrifice for freedom,” said Lance Cpl. Austin Fuller, a 20-year-old native of Louisville, Ky., and a rifleman with Echo Company, 2nd Bn., 8th Marines.
