An M1A1 Abrams Tank from 1st Tank Battalion fires at a simulated enemy, during 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment's Integrated Training Exercise Jan. 22, 2013. Marines with 3/4 conducting the Mechanized Assault Course portion of their ITX utilized the tanks, light armored vehicles from 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance and assault amphibious vehicles from 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, to repel a simulated enemy.
