Cpl. Zachary D. Edwards constructs A-frame during tactical rope suspension technique training June 24 at the Northern Training Area. Once completed, the frame is anchored hanging over the edge of a cliff and used as a pivot point for a rappelling rope to provide separation from the cliff. The separation allows injured or unconscious Marines or necessary equipment to be safely lowered down a cliff. Edwards is a scout sniper with Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, under the unit deployment program. (Photo by Cpl.
