Ohio Governor Bob Taft and Brig. Gen. Jack Lee, commander of Joint Task Force Buckeye walk from the communications center of the task force encampment at Stennis International Airport, Miss. JTF Buckeye is Ohio's military response in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Taft traveled to the area to meet with deployed Ohio National Guard troops and survey the storm-damaged communities first-hand. When thanked for Ohio's involvement in the recovery efforts, Taft replied, 'Mississippi would be there for us if we ever needed them.'
