Marines from Wounded Warrior Battalion - West participate in the defensive cane fighting portion of martial arts training being given by Roger Gehring (left), a former Marine scout sniper, and Rusty Brooks (protective suit), a former Navy Seal, at the Wounded Warrior Battalion - West Hope and Care Center aboard Camp Pendleton, Ca, on July 17, 2013. Gehring and Brooks are both members of the Mighty Oaks Foundation which is providing the training. The focus of the training is foster a fighting spirit that Wounded Warriors apply to any challenges they may face.
