The Bronze Star with V for Valor presented to New York Army National Guard Sgt. Joshua Young, a member of the 1018th Ordnance Company (EOD) on Friday, July 19. He was recognized for saving the life of a fellow soldier while under continuous enemy fire March 16, 2012, while he was serving in Afghanistan with an EOD battalion from Fort Drum, N.Y.
