U.S. Navy Medical Corps Cmdr. Rosemarie Tan, assigned to the Pacific Fleet band aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), delivers a check-up to a child. The Pacific Partnership medical team is at an elementary school in the district of Buldon, Shariff, Kabunsuan, Philippines to give free physical exams and consultations to people in need. Pacific Partnership assists the government of the Philippines in providing local communities with a wide range of services including various medical, dental and engineering civic action programs to provide focused humanitarian assistance.
