A Humvee attached to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), embarked on dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42), takes to the beach in support of exercise Talisman Saber 2013. Germantown is on patrol with the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group and, with the embarked 31st MEU, is currently participating in Talisman Saber, a biennial exercise that enhances multilateral collaboration between U.S. and Australian forces for future combined operations, humanitarian assistance and natural disaster response.
