A 155mm shell prepared to be fired by the M777 light weight towed Howitzer during the 4th Battalion, 1st Field Artillery’s “Gunner’s Bash”. “Gunners Bash”, which over the course of a week tested many different skill sets, from calling for fire accurately, to putting rounds on target in a timely manner, all while ground units were maneuvering on their objective. 4/1 FA’s parent unit the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division is located at East Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
