A C-2A Greyhound from the "Providers" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 30, Detachment 5, makes an arrested landing on the flight deck of the U.S. Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). George Washington and it's embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, are currently participating in exercise Talisman Saber (TS) 2013. The TS series is a biennial training event aimed at improving Australian Defence Force (ADF) and U.S. combat readiness and interoperability as a Combined Joint Task Force.
