During civil disturbance training at the Airborne Sustainment Training Area, July 25, 2013, Army Pfc. James Dawson (left), C Troop, 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment, tries to breach a controlled formation. Soldiers trained on tactics for civil disturbance control using non-lethal force, which included proper formations and snatch-team training used to pull an injured Soldier to safety. Traffic control points were also setup, giving Soldiers basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and proper personnel search, personal property accountability, and detainment methods.
