Keesler hosted a Mardi Gras-themed breakfast with civic leaders and base leadership Jan. 10, 2013, at the Bay Breeze Event Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., to kick off a two-day visit by the four members of the Installation Excellence Selection Board. The IESB visited the two finalist bases to evaluate how well the base improved work environments, quality of life and increased customer satisfaction to determine the winner of the Commander-in-Chief's Annual Award for Installation Excellence.
