Col. Frank Muth, deputy commanding officer- support, 1st Infantry Division pauses for a somber moment as he visits the “Duke” Memorial Aug. 7, on Fort Knox. Muth visited the “Duke” brigade to meet the soldiers and discussed home station operations while the rest of the brigade is deployed. During his time with the team, Muth toured the motor pool, the Duke memorial and brigade headquarters and commended the leaders and soldiers for their hard work and expressed how impressed he was with the unit.
