Cadet George Sendelbach, an ROTC cadet attending North Carolina State University, rides in a Black Hawk helicopter over Enfield, N.C., Aug. 3, 2013. Sendelbach and six other ROTC cadets spent the day being mentored by soldiers from B Company, 3rd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), part of the North Carolina National Guard. One of the missions of U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers is to train and build relationships with foreign military forces; this training not only gave the cadets skills they will need as future officers, it also gave their Special Forces leaders an opportunity to practice teaching others.
