Corey R. Brinkman, an operations sergeant with the 371st Sustainment Brigade and a Columbus Grove, Ohio native displays the U.S. CENTCOM coin for excellence he received from Command Sgt. Maj. Frank A. Grippe, the U.S. CENTCOM command sergeant major at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait on Aug. 8, 2013. Brinkman received the coin after sharing his experiences in Afghanistan that awarded him the Bronze Star Medal with Valor.
