Private First Class Brandon Fea, amphibious assault vehicle driver, Charlie Company, 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, and native of Riverside, Calif., removes the pin from an M67 fragmentation grenade during a training exercise here, Aug. 14, 2013. The grenade gives the Marines of 3rd AABn. enhanced offensive capabilities and the ability to eliminate fortified enemy positions. The Marines performed the exercise in preparation for their upcoming deployment to Japan where they will support joint operations and exercises in the Pacific.
