The engine of a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement sits on stands and is held in place by a pulley system in the Combat Logistics Company 11 maintenance bay after being pulled out of the vehicle for repairs aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Aug. 13. This engine weighs more than can be lifted by normal means and requires a forklift in order to remove it from the vehicle.
