A Sailor stands topside security watch (left), and another crew member shoulders a .45 caliber line-throwing gun aboard the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Montpelier upon arrival at the Marathi NATO Pier Facility in Souda Harbor for a brief port visit. Montpelier departed her homeport of Norfolk, Va. in November for a scheduled six-month deployment as part of the Harry S. Truman Strike Group operating in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility supporting maritime security operations.
