PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. - Papa Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, put their rifle marksmanship training to use June 26, 2013, on a rifle range on Parris Island, S.C.
Recruits spent four days honing the shooting skills learned the week prior before qualifying with the M16 rifle. Rifle qualification is one of eight graduation requirements recruits must fulfill to become U.S. Marines. Papa Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 2, 2013.
