MIDDLETON, Conn. – The 344th Military Police Company of the U.S. Army Reserve held a change of command ceremony June 22 at the Major General Maurice Rose Armed Forces Reserve Center in Middletown, Conn.

Capt. Gregory Durant relinquished command to Capt. Eric Giles, a resident of Fishers Island, N.Y.

Durant, a Canton, Mass., resident, has commanded the 344th MP Co. for more than three years. During his tenure, the unit participated in Operation Guardian Justice at Fort Bliss, Texas.
