U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Gregory Durant passes the colors signifying his relinquishment of command to Capt. Eric Giles during the 344th Military Police Company change of command ceremony June 22 at the Major General Maurice Rose Armed Forces Reserve Center in Middletown, Conn. Durant, a Canton, Mass., resident, has commanded the 344th MP Company for more than three years. During his tenure, the unit participated in Operation Guardian Justice at Fort Bliss, Texas. The unit also deployed to Bagram, Afghanistan, in 2013 where they were placed over a majority of the Afghan National Detention Center Facility at Parwan.
