DECATUR, Ga. - Leaders at the Atlanta VA Medical Center will hold a grand opening ceremony for the new Atlanta Clinic on Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m. The clinic is located at the old DeVry, 250 N. Arcadia Avenue, Decatur.
“We're always trying to improve services for our veterans, and the Atlanta VA Clinic helps us do just that,” said Al Rosado, site administrator for the clinic.
The multi-story specialty care facility opened March 23, 2015, and provides primary care, mental health, dental, Lab and X-ray, sleep medicine and traumatic brain injury services, as well as a Women’s Wellness Clinic.
“We are very excited about this new clinic because it increases access and ensures that our veterans continue to receive the high-quality health care that they have earned and deserve,” Rosado added.
The event, open to the public, will include tours of the clinic and light refreshments.
The Atlanta Clinic serves veterans Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is expected to provide care for 36,000 veterans annually.
