22nd Marine Expenditionary Unit
MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducted a Fire Support Coordination Exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 19-20.
The FSCEX took place in order to give the Marines the training they need to effectively call in artillery, naval gunfire, mortars or air support. The 22nd MEU is scheduled for a deployment next spring.
