EDINBURGH, Ind. - Members of the Indiana Air National Guard participated in the 2018 Enlisted Leadership Seminar held at the R. Martin Umbarger Conference Center, Edinburgh, Indiana, Oct. 22-25, 2018.
The seminar was composed of Airmen from the 122nd Fighter Wing, Ft. Wayne, and Airmen from the 181st Intelligence Wing, Terre Haute.
This was an opportunity to actively delve into a professional leadership course that aimed to broaden the focus and provide functional leadership skills that can be utilized immediately and for years to come.
“We want to professionally develop our Airmen by giving them tools on how to be front line supervisors, how to write bullets, how to be effective and effectively communicate,” said Chief Durcholz.
While at the seminar, members went through key courses such as, four lenses, time management, leading with emotional intelligence, bullet writing and many other useful courses.
“I came to the seminar to broaden my leadership skills,” said U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Katie Schutter, a military pay technician assigned to the 181st Intelligence Wing, Indiana Air National Guard.
