    Commander, Navy Recruiting Command

MILLINGTON, Tenn. – Cmdr. Brandon S. Kaser was relieved as commanding officer of Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Jacksonville, Florida, by Cmdr. M. Juanique Wallace during a change of command ceremony, Nov. 20.

Kaser was instrumental to Navy recruiting since his arrival at NRD Jacksonville in September 2015. Under his leadership, NRD Jacksonville was one of the most successful recruiting districts in the nation while leading 19 officers, 207 enlisted and 18 civilian personnel from 36 Navy Recruiting Stations covering 52,000 square miles across two states. In Fiscal Year 2016, his district met or exceeded all enlisted production goals while managing a pool of 800 Future Sailors and maintaining attrition under two percent, subsequently achieving the Recruiting “R” and Officer “Big Four”.

Kaser and his team answered the Navy Recruiting Command’s challenge to execute the Auxiliary Security Force Arming Proof-of-Concept whereby Jacksonville was one of only three districts across the nation to go “live” with armed recruiters. In Fiscal Year 2018, Navy Recruiting District Jacksonville exceeded recruiting goals, ranking number them number one in Region EAST and number two across the nation.

“This is a special day in many ways,” said Kaser, who is retiring from active service. “The Navy has been a great experience for me, these past 20 years. I’m glad that for my last tour, I got to be a part of shaping the Navy’s future through recruiting.”

Kaser’s relief as commanding officer of NRD Jacksonville comes well prepared for her new job, as she has served as the executive officer of NRD Jacksonville during Kaser’s time as commanding officer. “Cmdr. Kaser has set some high standards for the district,” Wallace said. “It’s my goal to keep the standards high during my tour.”

The Navy’s recruiting force totals over 6,100 personnel in more than 1,200 recruiting stations around the globe. Their combined goal is to attract the highest quality candidates to assure the ongoing success of America’s Navy.

NRC consists of a command headquarters, two Navy Recruiting Regions, 20 Navy Recruiting Districts and six Navy Talent Acquisition Groups that serve more than 1,200 recruiting stations across the country.
