Throughout 2015 at Fort McCoy, law-enforcement agencies from Wisconsin and other states completed training at the installation.
Law-enforcement personnel utilized live-fire training ranges as well as facilities at the Fort McCoy Combined Arms Collective Training Facility.
One of the biggest law-enforcement training customers for Fort McCoy facilities is the Wisconsin State Patrol Academy -- a tenant organization on post. Other customers typically come from law-enforcement agencies in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and Iowa.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin. The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
