Photo Essay: Fort McCoy Construction Operations - March 6, 2019

Contractors were busy working on numerous projects at Fort McCoy on March 6, 2019.

Projects included work on two new dining facilities, renovation of an old community center, construction on a new emergency operations center, and more.

Most all projects under construction or renovation will be completed later in 2019.

Fort McCoy's Directorate of Public Works and the Army Corps of Engineers are project coordinators for the construction work.

Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin. The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
