GLENDALE, Ariz. – A mass enlistment ceremony for over 45 Future Soldiers and Marines, took place prior to a National League Football game between the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams, Dec. 1, State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona.
Conducting the enlistment ceremony was 1st Lt. Brett Toth, offensive tackle, Arizona Cardinals, and a former West Point graduate and Black Knights player, who was permitted to have his military service deferred to pursue his NFL career.
Toth, who is currently on the non-football injury list, performed the oath in front of his home crowd to rapturous applause, shortly before kickoff.
The ceremony was part of the Phoenix Recruiting Battalion’s annual Salute to Service activities with the Cardinals organization.
