FORT CARSON, Colo. – The 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson officially welcomed three distinguished Soldiers to the Ivy Division family on August 4, 2020, at Manhart Field at Fort Carson, Colo.
Brig. Gen. Isaac J. Peltier now serves as the Deputy Commanding General of Support of the 4th Inf. Div. Prior to assuming his duties as the DCG-S, Peltier served as Commander of Special Operations Command North (SOCNORTH) at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.
Col. Eric S. Strong now serves as the Deputy Commanding Officer of Maneuver for the 4th Inf. Div. In his prior assignment he served as the executive officer of 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Col. Jeremy Wilson now serves as the Chief of Staff of the 4th Inf. Div. Prior to assuming his duties, he served as Commander of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, at Fort Hood, Texas.
Commanding General of the 4th Inf. Div. Maj. Gen. Matthew W. McFarlane warmly welcomed the Soldiers, expressing his confidence in their competent leadership and ability to excel in their new positions.
“It’s important to take time to give proper welcome to these great leaders and their families to join us in this great community. Welcome to the best home town in the Army,” said McFarlane.
