JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON - (Oct. 13, 2022) In recognition of the United States Navy standing watch for 247 years, Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio took time to celebrate the momentous achievement with a cake-cutting ceremony.
Opening remarks were given by NTAG San Antonio’s Commanding Officer, CDR Stephanie Simoni, prior to the cutting and fellowship.
Established October 13, 1775, the United States Navy has proven to be a protective force for freedom. Its presence on both land and sea serves as a symbol of freedom and power that is yet to be rivaled.
America’s Navy has stood faithful watch for 247 years and will continue to do so with faith and honor, so today we honor you and all the Sailors who are or have served. Happy Birthday!
NTAG San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
