U.S. Air Force Senior Airman LaQuita Holliday, 51st Healthcare Operations Squadron urgent care medical technician, earned the title Mustang of the Week at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, July 8, 2024.
As an urgent care medical technician, Holliday is responsible for delivering emergency medical treatment, conducting patient assessments and ensuring the overall health and readiness of the 51st Fighter Wing personnel and their families.
In addition to her daily responsibilities, Holliday played a critical role in integrating 51st FW medical staff with the Osan AB fire department for the base’s new Advanced Life Support platform. This implementation allowed a certain number of medics to join the fire department in responding to calls, while the rest of the medics remained at the hospital. The split in staffing ensured that whether on scene or in the waiting room, patients would receive proper medical attention.
Holliday is also the treasurer for the 51st Medical Group’s Booster Club, where she organizes and manages fundraisers, coordinates morale events and fosters a sense of community and support within the unit. Her dedication to enhance the unit's cohesion and morale through these events has made a significant positive impact.
A well deserved MOTW recipient, Holliday exemplifies excellence and dedication, ensuring the well-being of airmen and their families while significantly boosting morale. Her well-rounded capabilities and commitment to service make her an invaluable asset to the 51st FW.
