FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. – Holiday hams will be available for Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) patrons at significant savings during an upcoming sales promotion.
From April 10-20, stateside commissaries (including Alaska and Hawaii) will offer hams at 99 cents a pound while supplies last. Selection may vary by store.
“When you can get a good, tasty ham at extra savings in your commissary, there is no better deal in town,” said Navy Command Master Chief Mario S. Rivers, DeCA’s senior enlisted advisor to the director. “Promotions like this is how patrons can save 25% or more by consistently shopping their commissary.”
The hams on sale include the following brands:
• Hillshire Farm, Brown Sugar Cured Spiral Ham
• Hormel, Cure 81 Spiral Sliced Ham
• Smithfield, Naturally Hickory Smoked Spiral Ham
In addition to hams, shoppers will see plenty of other items in the commissary to help them prepare their holiday menus. They can also find helpful recipes on the commissary website (https://shop.commissaries.com/recipes) for holiday hams (https://shop.commissaries.com/recipes/meat_poultry/holiday_ham/r/3380099607391376308#!/?category_id=302810) and other tasty meals. There are plenty of opportunities to save, particularly through the following:
• The Commissary Sales Flyer (https://corp.commissaries.com/rewards-and-savings/savings-center/featured-items-sales-flyer) offers commissary patrons a look at what’s on sale that week in their store. The flyers are customized by geographic areas.

DeCA’s private label inventory can fill your pantry, freezer and fridge with an assortment of items spanning the entire store.
