Fort Bragg is one of the largest military installations in terms of land mass, commands, units, tenants and total number of Soldiers, dependents, civilian employees and contractors. With more than it's share of vehicles - military and civilian in a variety of shapes, sizes and tonnage - there are a lot of "moving pieces" that create traffic problems and hazards. Installation safety and law enforcement experts are most familiar with the end result of what happens when things go wrong for drivers here, and share basic road wisdom to help you avoid becoming a statistic.

Warriors on the Water is a non-profit organization that exists for the sole purpose as a way to say "thank you" to our men and women in the armed services.
Now in its third year, the annual Blessing of the Bikes has grown and more than eighty-five riders participated this year, more than the last two years combined. Losing a loved one is hard, but losing a loved one to suicide is extremely difficult. Erin Thede, Director, Employer Partnership office, U.S. Army Reserve, shares her story of loss and how she has learned to overcome this tragedy.
Over the last 105 years the Army Reserve has grown from a small group of medical officers into force of over 200,000 soldiers serving the army both at home and abroad. Recently USARC held a ceremony to celebrate this milestone.
USARC non-commissioned officers recently had the opportunity to fly in a Black Hawk helicopter as part of their monthly NCO Professional Development Program. Besides the ride, they participated in an air extraction from Luzon Drop Zone 40 miles southwest of Fort Bragg.

Luther Thomas Jr., a native of Laurinburg, NC, not far from Fort Bragg and USARC, was recently selected to be the 12th Command Sergeant Major of the Army Reserve.
